The Myrtha digital pool in Paris
The development of the digitisation process for Myrtha Pools continues. After successful case histories in both the Antibes and Canet-en-Roussillon swimming centres, we are pleased to announce that the pools of the Aquatic Centre in Saint-Denis – another Myrtha facility – will be integrated for the first time with underwater cameras for streaming and video replay developed by our partner, Vogo. Thanks to this engineering innovation, this Parisian aquatic centre will be able to boast pool digitisation systems fully integrated with the panelized Myrtha technology, which will make it easier to both maintain the pool and update the systems.
As a leader in competition pools and partner of World Aquatics (formerly FINA) since 2009, Myrtha has long pursued this kind of innovation. In addition to the obvious visual benefits to the competitive world, this approach is also another step toward improving the safety and comfort of operating teaching pools. In this respect, it is another in a long line of solutions for every age bracket and swimming ability level developed by the Italian company.
The integrated pool system developed by Myrtha Pools will be further developed to meet the new needs of both end-users – whether top athletes or amateurs – and aquatic centre managers. Thanks to the Myrtha R&D team, as well as the partnership with Vogo, Myrtha Pools of the near future will offer further new options, and will be able to evolve by anticipating trends in management, fan engagement, athlete performance analysis and pool management.
