Twentebad Hengelo

Thanks to Myrtha’s RenovAction technology, the sports center in the Dutch town of Hengelo has been revamped. The renewed Olympic sized swimming pool will host recreational swimmers as well as swim schools and has been designed down to the smallest detail. The water circulation system has been redesigned using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), a tool that simulates the behavior of a fluid and predicts its speed, temperature and other physico-chemical characteristics.

In addition, the use of a heat pump, solar panels, skylights, advanced air conditioning system and the positioning of a drum filter make the new swimming pool highly sustainable.
