Perth College Pool – Australia

Myrtha Pools has recently renewed the swimming pool of Perth College. Located in Mt Lawley, this College is the oldest independent girls’ school in Western Australia, and it features a 50m, eight-lane heated swimming pool, which is used by the school, by the Perth Swim Academy and by the Perth City Swimming Club for education, instruction and development within the sports of swimming and for learn-to-swim session and squad training.

The refurbishment included:

– The renovation of the existing 50m lap pool using Myrtha RenovAction Technology, including conversion to a wet deck pool, new balance tank, exposed aggregate concourse and pool blankets;

– The refurbishment of the existing pool water treatment plant using Neptune Benson Defender filters, Prominent controller, calcium hypochlorite feeder and acid/CO2 system;

– The relocation of existing gas heater and a nes solar heating system using evacuated tube technology.[:]
