Shirley brings strong energy and valuable expertise to Myrtha, particularly in the area of starting blocks and competitive swimming accessories. As Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, she covers the Northwestern United States, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and the Dakotas. Her role builds on a long career in aquatics, including extensive experience with Spectrum in her hometown of Missoula, Montana. Since joining Myrtha in 2022, she has contributed to the development of a number of projects across the region, supported by her ability to build and maintain relationships within the aquatic construction sector. Shirley’s knowledge of Myrtha starting blocks and related solutions makes her a key internal resource.
She has also supported the wider availability of Myrtha accessories for facilities that do not use Myrtha pool systems but wish to integrate selected elements. Outside of her professional activities, she follows the competitive swimming career of her daughter, Katharine Berkoff, an NCAA champion, Olympic medallist and world champion in the 100-metre backstroke. She also keeps in close contact with her son, whose work in the whitewater industry takes him to remote locations around the world, most recently Chile. Together with her husband Dave, she maintains an active family life centred on shared interests and travel.
