Myrtha Pools Switzerland opens new offices in Fribourg

Myrtha Pools Switzerland, the Swiss branch of Myrtha Pools – Global partner of World Aquatics since 2009 – celebrated the opening of its new offices in Fribourg with an event that brought together more than 60 guests from the world of aquatics and beyond.
Among the attendees were two representatives of World Aquatics and two delegates from Swiss Aquatics, including the diver Thibaud Bucher, who joined in marking this important milestone for Myrtha Pools’ presence in Switzerland.
The event was also an opportunity to celebrate the contribution of Philippe Walter, former Sport Director of Swiss Aquatics and President of Uster Swim Club, who was recognized for his longstanding commitment to the aquatic sports.
“The opening of our new offices in Fribourg represents a strategical investment to support the growth of the Swiss market,” said Patrick Wohlhauser, Branch Manager Switzerland. “It strengthens our local presence and reinforces our role as a trusted partner for aquatic facilities and sporting projects in Switzerland and internationally.”

This milestone comes shortly after Myrtha Pools and World Aquatics announced the extension of their global partnership through to 2029 during the World Aquatics Championships – Singapore 2025. The renewal marks a landmark achievement: 20 years of formal collaboration between the two organisations. It reflects the trust that the global aquatics community places in Myrtha Pools as a key partner and a world-class supplier for major sporting events around the world.
