Jon Cleveland’s career at Myrtha Pools reflects the broader development of the company. A three-time Olympian for Canada, he won a bronze medal as part of the 400-metre medley relay team at the 1992 Olympic Games. He achieved significant success at the highest levels of competitive swimming, including a total of 33 Canadian national titles. After the 1996 Olympic Games, he began using his degree in broadcast journalism, working first as a sports anchor in London, Ontario, and later producing cable news programming in Dallas, Texas, where he is now based. During this period, he remained closely involved in competitive swimming, taking on head coaching roles with clubs in the Dallas area. He joined Myrtha Pools in 2015 as Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, with responsibilities covering Texas, the Ozarks and the Northeastern United States.
Since then, he has contributed to the company’s development across a range of different markets. He has led the Myrtha sales group in annual performance on two occasions, and his role has recently expanded to include responsibility for all Eastern states, where he serves as Sales and Marketing Director. Outside of work, Jon is actively involved in family life, including supporting his daughter Hattie, a recent graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and his younger twin sons, Fin and SC. Within Myrtha, he is recognised for delivering major projects, exploring new applications of the company’s technologies and contributing to a positive and collaborative working environment.
