Pete joined Myrtha as a part-time sales agent in 2014, following a career as a marketing agency principal, motivated by his desire to support the creation of more swimming facilities for future generations, reflecting his lifelong passion for aquatics. His success in this role led to expanded responsibilities, and in 2020 he took on regular oversight of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia and Maryland. This progression reflects a strong personal connection to swimming, as Pete competed at both high school and university level, where he was recently inducted into his institution’s athletics hall of fame.
He is also currently in his 45th year as a US Masters swimmer. While not an Olympian like some of his colleagues, Pete has achieved a significant personal milestone, completing the circumnavigation of Manhattan Island, a 28.5-mile swim that required over eight hours of continuous effort. This determination is reflected in his professional approach, where strong strategic capabilities and consistent commitment support clients in addressing the challenges of refurbishing existing pools or developing new facilities.
